German Real Estate & Holiday Homes

Holiday Homes

Holiday homes are peaceful retreats from the habitual and busy world. Often closer to nature than our urban dwellings, they give us access to a different atmosphere -- more conducive to relaxing and engaging in hobbies, sports, and other leisure activities. We arrive with a suitcase or just a weekender bag -- delighting in a clutter-free space that still offers the comforts of a home.

We settle into a pace that allows for ease in our bodies, with deeper, longer breaths. A holiday home can refresh our senses, reconnect us with nature, and renew our well being.

When it comes to developing holiday home projects, it is important to consider the regions and locations that are particularly suitable for specific types of holiday homes and resorts. It is essential to understand the unique selling points for a holiday home in a specific location.

The amenities, features, and services that one has to include for a successful project must be carefully selected, planned, and implemented. Other areas that we address with clients are how to optimally market projects and manage holiday home properties.

The Achterspring Condominiums in Hennigsdorf, Germany

Achterspring is on course to be the first holiday home project in Berlin-Brandenburg certified by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB-certified sustainable building)

The holiday home project Achterspring ("Aft spring") comprises 60 vacation condos in a three-story complex situated near the town marina. The condos will offer views of the water from their living rooms and covered terraces.

Hennigsdorf traces its historical origins to a 14th century fishing village. The modern town has retained its bucolic setting and human-scaled living.

Located along the Havel River, with the Oder-Havel Canal and the Havel Canal flowing through the town, Hennigsdorf is less than an hour from Berlin and about two and a half hours from Hamburg by automobile. The town also can be accessed by train, boat, or bicycle.

Bike paths allow for scenic tours of the local countryside and region and provide environmentally-friendly access to the center of Berlin, which is about 24 kilometers from the site of the holiday homes.

Hennigsdorf is also the first stop from the German capital on the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route.
